Possible iPhone attack due to "find my iPhone " feature

The Technical University of Darmstadt researchers in Germany identified potential attack possibilities on the iPhone even when it is off. This is because the phone will be still running in low-power mode to enable “find my iPhone” feature. This option keeps the iPhone connected with Global Positioning Satelite (GPS), which will help us find the phone even if it is off. So there is a possibility of loading malicious program and execute while the phone is off. Researchers also mentioned that it’s not something very simple to do, there are lots of steps involved and use existing bugs like “BrakTooth”.
